This past Easter weekend, the Healthy Hen Household spent four days at the Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  It is quickly becoming a family tradition (our second Easter there), and you may want to consider making it yours.  We focused on one thing: pure, family fun.  Memory making, we sometimes call it.

The Broadmoor is one of the finest resorts in the world, and remarkably family friendly.  It has so much to offer that it was recently designated as a Forbes (previously Mobil) five-star resort for a record fiftieth (50th) year in a row.   It is currently only one of fifty-four (54) hotels in the world with the Forbes five-star designation (list here), so to have that distinction for half a century is a testament to its enduring quality, culture and history.  Read the rest of the story...

We recently stayed in a cabin at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado.  It is one of our favorite family vacation spots for numerous reasons.  We highly recommend it as a great family destination anytime you think about making a trip into the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
