It’s good to know that the mattress is made of organic and natural materials and is still fire resistant per federal regulations despite not containing  chemical retardants.

Your review speaks to me!  The fact that you can split the bed in the middle to customize how soft or firm we each want “our side” of the bed to be is fabulous.   My husband and I are on different pages when it comes to sleep styles, mattress softness desire, and how warm to keep the blankets and thermostat.  Nice review!

“My rooster and I have gone through numerous beds the past eight years, trying to find one that works for both of us.  Eventually, it felt like neither of us got any sleep.”

My husband and I sleep in different beds altogether as he prefers a hard mattress, and I prefer a soft one. There is no happy medium here.

Interesting “organic mattress with layers of latex foam”.  The cotton and/or wool fabric can be organic, not processed.  The wood can be organic, not treated.  Natural rubber latex comes from a liquid in tropical rubber trees.  I would need to know more about the process that takes the liquid and makes it into foam.
I research the products I buy based on how they are made and how they work.  I liked the personal aspect of how comfortable the bed was and how it solved their soft vs hard sleeping needs.  Would have preferred more research on this companies claims of natural latex and why it’s implying it is organic.
Per the The Natural Sleep Store “We also use only natural Dunlop. We are comfortable with the description for two reasons. First, this process has not changed since 1929, and the harmful chemicals available today were not available then. Secondly, because we know that a small amount of sodium silicofluoride is used as a gelling agent”.

I thought it was interesting that they found an organic mattress with layers of latex foam, split in the middle so they can customize how soft or firm they each want “our side” of the bed to be.

I’m always worried about the off-gassing mattresses supposedly do, so I think it’s great that she mentioned that the mattress is still fire retardent without the chemicals. That’s awesome!

I think the most interesting thing about the post is that the couple did decide upon an organic mattress, and  split it in the middle,  so each person was able to sleep as soft or as firm as they liked.   This was a good solution to a very common issue with couples.  I hope this solution continues to work!
