[...] Mummy Dogs and Bug-Eyed BlobsOne of the great things about having five Hens contribute to this website is that you are treated to a wonderful range of experiences, opinions and styles. We’ll offer you everything from the gourmet to the cheesy, and since I grew up in Wisconsin, I proudly fall into the “cheesy” category! Oh, I do try the simple gourmet (see Chocolate Memories ) but I’m much happier when I can sit back and savor the wonderfully elegant creations of fellow Hens and Roosters!http://www.fivehens.comFresh & Easy~NV 10/28 – 11/03 Fresh & Easy has two flyers out this week. One for the Halloween Festivities and the other regular flyer. F&E is like my neighborhood farmers market. That’s how I think of them, with an added bonus of other items like water, wine, samples..etc. So I list their produce packs weekly because it’s like picking out which fresh produce at my local farmer’s market I’ll be choosing. Halloween Highlights 10/28 – 10/31: Pumpkins 1ct – $2.48 (I saw these in the store yesterday and there good size for table or little hands.http://www.thedealfanatic.comCall for Submissions: Your Sweet Treats are NeededA brand new book, 1000 Ideas for Decorating Cakes, Cupcakes and Cookies by Sandra Salamony and Gina Brown will be published subsequent year by Quarry Books , and your submissions have been requested for probable inclusion! This is a good event for bakers to get their work published. Find the sum HERE .http://www.crafts-kids.info [...]
