Hi Gail and Tessa. I’m so glad you found these useful and thanks so much for your ideas too. This is such a great time of year, but I remember as a kid, the car trips to relatives’ homes was always kind of boring. I hope our kids don’t say the same when they’re older!

Those are some neat ideas! I don’t really want my son to watch a movie all the time in the car so it’s nice to get some ideas for a road trip kit that I can put together. We also try to plan our driving time around our son’s nap time so he will sleep for part of the trip. But allowing time for stops with a toddler is definantly important.

Great tips thank you. We sometimes play car trip bingo (find things out your window that are on your bingo card), count cows (kind of boring, sorry) or the license plate game (find plates from different states). Have a happy Thanksgiving.
