I used to love all the classics, Play-doh, Strawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Etch-a-Sketch and slinkies. I agree that gift cards are great for older kids and teens That way they always get what they want and you never waste money.

Great suggestions! My kids love bathtub toys, too. I love the idea of the fizzy tablets (sounds like a great stocking stuffer). And we love board games, too. We like them so much, they will rate a post of their own!

What my boys love more than any other toys is bathtub toys. We seem to forget how much they play in the tub. They can spend hours in there getting pruny. Painting the walls with washable paint, or pretending they are scientists with floating vials and fizzy colored tablets are the best.
