At the Five Hens, we love museums and this Saturday, September 26th, the Smithsonian Magazine is doing us all good by hosting a FREE Museum Day. That’s right. Compliments of the Smithsonian Magazine, you can enjoy free general admission for you and a guest to literally hundreds of museums and cultural venues nationwide on Saturday (and some on Sunday too). To get your free admission, you’ll need to present a Museum Day admission card at participating Museum Day locations. Today is FREE Ice Cream Day at Cold Stone and Carvel

It’s a little early for Friday Freebies, but who doesn’t love FREE ice cream on Thursday? Well, nobody that we know anyway.
Today, Cold Stone Creamery is hosting the 8th Annual “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social” to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Tonight from 5-8 pm, get a FREE 3 oz. Make-A-Wish Creation with your donation to Make-A-Wish. It’s a worthwhile cause and you get FREE ice cream. What can be better than that?
